Noise nuisance
We can all do our bit to help reduce noise nuisance to others and be a good neighbour.
If you’re affected by noise nuisance, you can report it to us using the noise app. With the noise app, you can:
- record noise nuisance using your phone
- send reports directly to Nottingham City Council Housing Services to be reviewed by a Housing Patch Manager
- create a diary of noise recordings.
Make sure you're downloading the most up-to-date version of the app - The Noise App 2.0
The Noise App is available to download from your mobile app store. The developers have recently updated the app, so please make sure you search and download the version called The Noise App 2.0. It'll look something like this, when you look to download it:
If you already have the Noise App, please make sure you are using the correct version as the older version will stop working in the coming weeks.

Use of the noise app needs to be alongside a current, 'open' case of noise nuisance that has been reported to Nottingham City Council Housing Services, and is being investigated.
